Medicine is used in Healer House's and Hospital's.
Basic Strategy
The Apothecary consumes Medicinal Roots to produce medicine. It is important to note that villagers will also stock Medicinal Roots in their homes, so there can be a bit of a fight over supplies. If you are going to build the Apothecary rather than buying Medicine, you will need a large supply of Medicinal Roots.
