Meat is one of the primary food resources in the game. It can be harvested by the following sources:
Meat can then be smoked in the Smokehouse by using Firewood in order to prevent Spoilage.
NOTE: A good tip for avoiding Meat and Fish spoilage is to un-check them from all storage areas except for Root Cellars, that includes Markets, Storage Carts and Storehouses. This will prolong the lifespan of these resources and give your Smokehouses more time to pick them up, as well as save the Smoker a lot of time they might otherwise spend walking.
