The Storage Cart is where the player begins with several Villagers on the map. It contains basic Resources to begin the Settlement, and may operate as rudimentary storage until more advanced Buildings are placed.
The Storage Cart can be relocated, but not removed by the player. Raiders are able to destroy a Storage Cart.
Gameplay Changes
As of v0.7.4 Hotfix 2 players can no longer build a Storage Cart. Crate Lead Designer Zantai provided a comment: "In the future, we plan for a way to convert your starting wagon into something more useful."
